Officers’ Address 2026

A Chairde go léir,

We would like to wish all our members and visitors a warm welcome and good golfing in 2026. Your support during last year is greatly appreciated, and we know we can rely on your continued encouragement in the coming year.

This year marks the third year of the One Club model, a structure that has strengthened our community and enhanced the experience for all members. We are proud of how this model has fostered unity and collaboration across every aspect of our Club.

We have a full programme of events planned for this year—from the Captains’ Drive-In in March through to the Carols in December 2026.

There is a comprehensive social calendar for the year, and you have always fully supported these events. We are proud of our social occasions, which remain a distinctive feature of our Club. A full programme of golfing competitions has also been planned to meet the needs of all categories of golfers.

We also celebrate the success of our Inter Club teams in 2025. We proudly won the Best and Bloom Cup and were narrowly defeated in the Mary McKenna Regional Finals. These competitions are a fantastic opportunity for members to put their golf to the test in multiple formats to represent our Club with pride and hopefully we can have build on this success in 2026.

We thank you, our members, who sponsor prizes and support our designated charities. A great number of members also contribute their time, expertise, and energy to all of our activities and to the smooth running of the Club. Your efforts have made the Club a great success. A sincere and warm thanks to all of you. We wish our members the best of health and good fortune for 2026, with plenty of enjoyable and competitive golf.

Agus ar deireadh, ba mhaith linn go mbainfidh sibh go léir lán-shásamh as bheith ag imirt gailf i mbliana. Ba mhaith linn freisin gach dea-ádh a ghuí ar gach éinne. Déanfaimid ar ndícheall ar bhur son.
